Virtually everything made by humans has graphic design work. Things that don’t generally get put into something that does.
Superba can handle a wide range of design jobs. If we haven’t done it already, we likely can. If we can’t, we’ll be honest tell you. We won’t string you along or parcel your job out to sub-contractor — making it not only more expensive, but highly susceptible to problems and delays.
Here’s what we can design for you:
- Emblems, logos, insignia and wordmarks
- Tee-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts and caps
- Promotional flyers, posters, postcards and brochures
- Product packaging
- CD covers and booklets, as well as vinyl record album covers
- Team uniforms and merchandise
- Company, band and team branding concepts
- Political campaign design work
- Color and logo consultation
- Business cards
- Letterhead
- Buttons and stickers
- Promotional items
- Signage
We only do designs and consultation. We don’t manufacture any of the items our designs could end up on — but in many cases we know people who do. If you need, we can recommend manufacturers. It’s not quite one-stop shopping, but at least you’re on a nice small-town Main Street where the merchants all know each other.
At Superba, no two jobs are alike. Hence, no two prices are alike.
We likely undercharge for our services. It’s hard to bring ourselves to charge what everyone else does. Other designers aren’t ripping you off. Rather, we’re just bashful.
We’ll talk about the job and give you an estimate. If we agree on the terms, we’ll ask for half up front and half when we deliver. You’ll receive the work on disc in the format you require.
Even after the job is done, you can contact us to put out any fires that might erupt. Unless it’s an overt re-design task, we’ll iron out these stubborn details gratis — or, if you prefer, as part of the job.
There are, of course, a few givens:
- A logo for a youth amateur baseball team’s tee shirts will cost less than one for a nation-wide business.
- An entire graphics program — logo, business cards, letterheard, promotional materials, etc. — will cost more than just a logo or a business card.
- Non-profits get a break.
- Politicians we like might get a break. Those we don’t like definitely won’t.
- If you like Esa Tikkanen, The Clash, Firefly or the Homestead Grays’ 1935 jerseys, we’ll probably stay on the phone longer with you.
- We don’t do spec work. If you’re not willing to hire us up front, all the freebies in the world won’t change your mind.
