DAISY TIKKANEN
C.E.O.

Fiercely independent, our Chief Executive Officer crashed through the glass ceiling to lead Superba through the chaotic fly-ball course known as “graphic design services.” Daisy, who prefers responding to “Tikkanen,” lives for design and designs to live. Tikkanen grew up on the streets of Brooklyn, learning graphic design through the heavy-manners world around Prospect Park and Green-Wood Cemetery. Tough and uncompromising, Tikkanen helms Superba with a thirst for success. “Make no bones about it,” she says, “I’m here to — aw, forget it, just make some bones about it, already.”

SIRIUS MADRA DUBH
C.F.O.

Tired of being mistaken for the Durham Puma, Sirius left Ireland and arrived in New Jersey just in time to be mistaken for a character from the new Harry Potter book. Crossing the Hudson River, Sirius joined Superba as the company’s first and only Chief Financial Officer. Despite an unnerving habit of calling dollars “biscuits,” accounts payable “throw the damned ball, already!” and overdue notices “gimme a biscuit or throw the ball, something, ANYTHING!,” Sirius has kept the company in the black and on solid financial footing. “I have to,” Sirius says, “or else it’s…hey, that’s not a biscuit in your hand, is it?”

SCOTT TURNER
Head Designer

At small drafting table in the corner of the design department Turner infuses Superba’s work with a knowledge of vintage design styles, old sports uniforms, history and pop culture, unique tools in the design trade. During his previous design posts with Stall & Dean and Ebbets Field Flannels, Turner created thousands of logos, emblems, color schemes and clothing items. Before that, he worked a variety of jobs in the fields of junk auto-part removal, human rights, photo retail, soft-drink bottling, law-office filing and motion-picture distribution, and has played in bands too numerous to name. “I like working at Superba,” Turner says, “except for the racket. Our CEO and CFO just bark at each other all day long…”
